GCWW Private-side One-off Lead Service Line Replacements

To reduce the expose to lead in drinking water, Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) has created a Lead Service Line Replacement Program (LSLRP). In October 2016, GCWW was directed by the City of Cincinnati Council, via Ordinance No. 326-2016, to take the appropriate steps to develop, fund, and implement a program to replace known lead service lines in the City, both on public and private property. Through another ordinance, Ordinance No. 185-2017, and effective July 28, 2017, lead service lines are prohibited in the GCWW system. Enforcement of this ban is being phased in over time. The private-side work is then done by contractors or plumbers who are contracted with GCWW through the City's procurement process, either for a water main replacement project, or from a prequalified list established through the City's Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process. This dataset is the list of jobs from the prequalified list of plumbers established through the RFQ process. Smart 911 Enrollments

In July 2018, the City of Cincinnati launched an emergency communication tool, Smart911, that provides 9-1-1 call takers and first responders with additional critical information about participating residents. This technology helps reduce response times and provide first responders with vital information that can help improve incident outcomes. Through Smart911, residents can create a secure “Safety Profile” that will automatically display to emergency call takers immediately upon placing a 9-1-1 call. When a call comes in, a call taker will see a user’s Safety Profile as well as a Facility Profile about their current location. This data allows users to view total enrollment by web site, application or overall. Additionally, the data can be filtered to show enrollment by zip code or by week. FEMA FIRM 2010 layer displays the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Flood Insurance Rate Maps and risk assessments. It is based on flood hazard mapping in Hamilton County that represents an important part of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Two types of Flood Zones are displayed A and AE. According to the FEMA, AE are areas subject to inundation by the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event determined by detailed methods. Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) are shown. Mandatory flood insurance purchase requirements and floodplain management standards apply. Also, and according to FEMA, A are areas subject to inundation by the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event generally determined using approximate methodologies. Because detailed hydraulic analyses have not been performed, no Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) or flood depths are shown. Mandatory flood insurance purchase requirements and floodplain management standards apply.
