Percentage of properly completed homestead applications processed prior to mailing annual assessment notices. - Department KPI

This KPI measures the percentage of properly filed homestead applications that are reviewed and entered into the system. Homestead exemptions can be filed year-round, but must be filed by April 1st in order to be applicable for the current tax year. It is the departments goal to make sure all approved applications are keyed timely so the exemption is reflected on each tax bill.

Percent of Department Heads and Staff Satisfaction - Department KPI

We are measuring the percentage of department heads and Commissioners staff who are satisfied with the services they receive from the County Manager's Executive Office. This helps ensure that the County Manager's Executive Office is delivering 5-Star Customer Service to its internal customers. For the purpose of this measurement, 80% or greater is the goal to reach to ensure that the Executive Office is meeting and exceeding its internal customer satisfaction.

Percent of Active Cases of Tuberculosis Receiving DOT - Department KPI

Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis that usually affects the lungs. TB bacteria are spread when they are put into the air when a person with TB disease of the lungs or throat coughs or speaks. People nearby may breathe in these bacteria and become infected. If not treated properly, TB disease can be fatal. An effective strategy to ensure patients complete TB treatment is directly observed therapy (DOT). With DOT, a patient meets with a health care worker every day or several times a week. The patient takes the TB medication while the health care worker watches. There is no way to accurately predict whether a patient will adhere to treatment without this assistance. This measures looks at the proportion of patients being treated for TB who receive DOT.

Percent Cost Savings Achieved per Year - Department KPI

We are measuring the Department's ability to produce and document sufficient cost savings measures in order to quantify the value the Department brings to the procurement process. Cost savings can be defined as the aggregate amount of money saved by reducing costs from one year to the next.

Children without Health Insurance - Strategic KPI

This performance measure tracks the percentage of population 18 years or younger in Fulton County who did not have health insurance in the past 12 months. The data used for this measure come from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey, which defines health insurance coverage to include plans and programs that provide comprehensive health coverage. Coverage may be provided by either private health insurance or public programs. Private health insurance is a plan provided through an employer or union, a plan purchased by an individual from a private company. Public programs providing coverage include the federal programs Medicare, Medicaid, and VA Health Care; the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP); and individual state health plans.

Income includes wage or salary income; net self-employment income; interest, dividends, or net rental or royalty income or income from estates and trusts; Social Security or Railroad Retirement income; Supplemental Security Income (SSI); public assistance or welfare payments; and retirement, survivor, or disability pensions.
